- Invested more than $56 million to expand and modernize its distribution system, including more automated devices to help detect system faults, reduce the number of outages, and restore power more quickly when outages do happen.

- Received $750,000 in federal funding for its Distribution System Operator pilot project in partnership with GridS2, which will help reduce demand on constrained feeders, reducing the need for distribution system upgrades.

- Contributed more than $450,000 in the communities it serves through donations and sponsorships, including the United Way Waterloo Region Communities, the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo Stratford Perth, the Foodbank of Waterloo Region, Nutrition for Learning, and The Working Centre.
Award-winning performance
Enova Power’s achievements in 2025 were celebrated in March 2026, when the utility received the Electricity Distributors Association’s LDC Performance Excellence Award, Ontario’s highest industry honour for local distribution companies. The utility was also proud to be named one of Southwestern Ontario’s Top Employers.
