Enova Power Corp. named one of Southwestern Ontario’s Top Employers

Enova Power Corp. (Enova) is thrilled to announce that it has been named one of Southwestern Ontario’s Top Employers for 2025. The recognition is part of Mediacorp Canada Inc.’s “Canada’s Top 100 Employers” program.

Enova’s exemplary employee health, safety, and wellness program caught the attention of the judges. The program includes regular safety meetings for outside staff, employee-led fitness classes, a healthy lifestyle incentive program, and a focus on mental health awareness.

The utility’s commitment to community support also helped it stand out as a leader among area organizations. In 2024, Enova supported many community organizations and local charities, including The Food Bank of Waterloo Region, oneROOF Youth Services, the United Way Waterloo Region Communities, the Heart and Stroke Foundation, and the Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo & Stratford Perth.

“This award is a testament to the dedication of our talented employees,” said Greig Cameron, Enova’s President and CEO. “Their commitment to excellence, teamwork, and customer service makes Enova a great place to work and an employer of choice.”

The judging panel highlighted Enova’s ongoing training and employee development programs in its reasons for selection. Enova offers robust apprenticeship opportunities and tuition subsidies for job-related courses and education programs.

The Top Employer winners are chosen based on eight criteria: workplace; work atmosphere & social; health, financial & family benefits; vacation and time off; employee communications; performance management; training & skills development; and community involvement.
