Enova Power Corp. conducting telephone survey about electrical safety

Enova Power Corp. (Enova) is conducting a telephone survey to measure public awareness of electrical safety.

Starting March 21, 2024, Brickworks Communications, on behalf of Enova, will be calling residents in Enova’s service area to assess their understanding of how to stay safe around electricity and electrical equipment.

The survey is required by the Ontario Energy Board and will take approximately five minutes to complete. Results will be included on Enova’s Scorecard in Fall 2024, but they also help drive the utility’s electricity education efforts.

“Safety and well-being above all is one of Enova’s core values and our number one priority. Electricity can be lethal and unforgiving, so we are asking residents how much they know about staying safe around electricity and electrical equipment so we know where to focus our on-going education efforts,” says Greig Cameron, President and CEO, Enova.

“We hope that people will take the time to respond to the survey. We pay close attention to the results so that we can put concentrated effort on outreach and education in areas where there are gaps,” he adds.

No personal or account information is required

Survey responses are anonymous and although respondents will be asked for some basic demographic information such as age and postal code, they will never be asked for an Enova account number, home address, credit card number or banking information. Customers are reminded to be alert to fraudulent calls and never release account or financial information to unknown callers.
