WATERLOO REGION, ON (September 7, 2023) – Summer was the season of giving for Enova Power Corp.’s (Enova) customers, as their efforts led to $5,000 donations to each of the Grand River Hospital Foundation and St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation.
Enova’s summer eBilling campaign saw the utility donate $5 on behalf of each customer who registered for eBilling during the campaign period, which ran from mid-June until August 1. The campaign raised $10,000, which was split evenly between Grand River Hospital Foundation and St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation, supporting hospital renovation projects, health research, innovation and education, and the purchase of diagnostic imaging equipment.
“We’re so grateful for community partners, like Enova, for rallying with our communities in support of building world class health care for all, right here at Grand River Hospital. Their eBilling campaign raised $5,000 and helps to ensure that Care Never Stops in our communities. It’s because of Enova, and their clients, that we’re able to continue to meet the current and emerging patient needs at Grand River Hospital,” says Paul McIntyre Royston, President & CEO, Grand River Hospital Foundation.
“Partnerships are key to furthering the health of our communities. This contribution by Enova enables us to invest in advanced medical technologies at the hospital, strengthening the environment of care for patients from all walks of life,” says Susan Dusick, President & CEO, St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation.
“We are proud to present this donation to our local hospital foundations,” says Greig Cameron, Enova’s President & CEO. “We appreciate our customers for making the switch to eBilling to help drive the future of health care in our communities and support the important work done by Grand River Hospital Foundation and St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation.”
