Ultra-Low Overnight Pricing (ULO)

The default pricing plan for residential and small business customers is Time-of-Use pricing. When you choose Time-of Use pricing, the price you pay for electricity depends on when you use it. With Ultra-Low Overnight (ULO) rate, customers who use the majority of electricity at night can lower their costs by shifting their consumption until after 11 p.m. If Tiered Pricing is selected, customers consume a certain amount of electricity each month at a lower price, when the lower priced consumption limit is exceeded, a higher price applies. To learn more about Time-of-Use pricing, Tiered pricing and Ultra-Low Overnight pricing, visit the Ontario Energy Board website. Please note, Ultra-Low Overnight pricing will be available for service start dates after November 1, 2023.
