Enova Power Corp. conducting electrical safety survey

Enova Power Corp. (Enova Power) is conducting a survey to measure public awareness of electrical safety.

Starting February 25, 2026, Enova Power is inviting residents in its service territory to take part in an online survey and quiz to test their awareness of electrical safety. In addition, UtilityPULSE, a Canadian company specializing in polls and surveys for the electricity sector, will be calling residents in Enova Power’s service territory to assess their understanding of how to stay safe around electricity and electrical equipment.

The survey is required by the Ontario Energy Board and will take approximately five minutes to complete. Results will be included on Enova Power’s Scorecard in Fall 2026, but Enova Power also uses the survey results to identify where to focus public education efforts.

“Electricity is part of our everyday lives, and it is easy to forget just how dangerous it can be. Safety and well-being above all is one of Enova Power’s core values, and this survey helps us identify where we need to do more to help people understand how to stay safe,” says Greig Cameron, President and CEO, Enova Power.

No personal or account information is required

Survey responses are anonymous, and although respondents will be asked for some basic demographic information such as age and postal code, they will never be asked for an Enova Power account number, home address, credit card number or banking information. Customers are reminded to be alert to fraudulent calls and to never release account or financial information to unknown callers.
