Post-Merger Integration

Integration remained a major focus in 2025 as we streamlined operations to serve our customers better. The hard work of our integration project teams and employees across all departments helped complete important projects and positioned Enova for a bright, productive future.

We successfully completed 87% of our major post-merger integration projects in 2025, which is a remarkable achievement given that our employees achieved this success while continuing to meet the daily operational needs of our customers and communities.

Our major milestones included:

  • Completing the full integration of four enterprise software systems including our Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition system (SCADA), Geographic Information System (GIS)Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, and Human Resource Information Management and Payroll system. Several integrations were completed ahead of schedule.
  • Consolidating control room operations by moving operators to a single site and renovating it with modern technology and ergonomic equipment.
  • Unifying our online outage maps to a single integrated OMS system so customers could find outage information updates on one map.

Every project we completed improves customer satisfaction, streamlines our internal processes, and enhances our outage response—ensuring we continue to deliver outstanding service to all our customers. They also lay the foundation for projects that will enable us to continue innovating and delivering best-in-class service and reliability for our customers.

Our integration efforts included significant internal milestones as well, making day-to-day operations more efficient and easier for employees across all departments.

Reliability and Resiliency

As Ontario’s seventh-largest electricity distributor, we take immense pride in overseeing and maintaining a vast network of overhead and underground powerlines – enough to travel from Waterloo to Whitehorse, Yukon and back again. Our commitment to excellence and stewardship of this critical infrastructure is second to none.

Fault Location, Isolation and Service Restoration Project (FLISR)

FLISR allows SCADA-controllable devices to automatically activate when a fault is detected. This activation automatically reroutes power to restore as many customers as quickly as possible after an outage. Later this year, the system will also monitor the network for sudden loss of voltage and attempt to isolate the cause and reroute power to as many customers affected as possible.
