Switch to eBilling for good!

The Week of Giving is here! Help us support The Food Bank by registering for eBilling.

If you switch to eBilling during the Week of Giving, Enova will donate 12 healthy meals to The Food Bank of Waterloo Region (The Food Bank) on your behalf.

This sounds great! How do I participate?

Helping others is as easy as the click of a button.

All you need to do is sign up for eBilling and we’ll do the rest.

  • Cut down on clutter: Is that pile of mail on your counter getting bigger every day? We can help make it smaller. Ditch paper bills and switch to eBilling – you’ll never have to worry about misplacing your bill in a stack of papers ever again.

Who am I helping by making the switch?

The Food Bank of Waterloo Region is committed to providing emergency food assistance and support throughout the region, ensuring no one is left behind.

Working in collaboration with the Community Food Assistance Network, a system of more than 100 community programs and agency partners, The Food Bank’s goal is to reduce hunger in Waterloo region and identify proactive solutions to address poverty and food insecurity.

Organizations in the Network—providing food and support to children, seniors, families, and individuals every day—include soup kitchens, community and outreach centres, shelters, residential service providers, food hamper programs, and family resource centres.

The Food Bank, as a leader of the Network, acquires, coordinates, and distributes fresh, frozen, and non-perishable food to the Network’s community programs and agency partners. The community programs provide welcoming spaces to distribute food support to people in need in our community.

With the cost of living continuing to rise for most Ontarians, The Food Bank is more important than ever.

  • 1 in 20 households in Waterloo region access emergency food assistance programs
  • More than 34,000 people in Waterloo region are served by the Community Food Assistance Network every year
  • 35 per cent of those helped are under the age of 18
  • 4.7 million pounds of food are acquired and distributed to the Community Food Assistance Network every year
  • More than 1,800 community meals are distributed every day
